"The Macaws" is an original Oil depicting two adult Macaws. These two birds were happy at home in this tropical island setting. The bird on the left is a classic Blue-and-Yellow macaw while the bird on the right is a Scarlet macaw. The challange of this painting was getting the birds to stay in one place for the painting, they were very active and interested in exploring thier surroundings.

Artist's Comments: Hoping to capture the two beauties was somehting I wanted to accomplish, along with the tropical setting when I saw the birds in the Bahamas.
