This painting was created in the Summer on the beach at Cape Henlopen, Delaware. The artists daughter is the subject of the painting, she was a teenager at the time. Artist's Comments: The beauty of my daughter, just sitting there. Being able to just listen, watch, smell, and touch the sand. So many of us enjoy the relaxation of coming to the beach and being near the ocean. To take it all in, the magnificent waves, the cool breezes and salt in the air, the sounds and birds in flight. My daughters hair swept up on top of her head seemed to be the summer teenage beach hair style. Everywhere I looked the young women had their hair up on top of their heads.
