The beach is sparcely populated because it is south of town, and the waves tend to be larger along this section of beach. The beach is also narrower along this part of the coast and the water gets deeper faster, making this area better for water sports. This section of the beach is a popular area to the surfers, and you will often find surfers waiting for the perfect wave. Artist's Comments: It was a cold and windy day, but the surfers kept accumulating, they persevered and ignored the cold water and the wind.
They sat there balancing on their boards in their wet suites waiting for possibility of catching a good wave to ride. The hours went bye and still they stayed on top of their boards waiting.
